Taking this as the central proposition, Wong present a dialectic of inner energy. In Burning Hot, fire is both the primordial force of creation and the latent inevitability of collapse. This body of work does not seek to provide a binary answer, but instead emphasises on an exploration of "balance"— within the flames and temperature, continuously capturing the dynamic, tense criticality.
