Biography

Born in 2004 in Hong Kong, Sum Wong is recently an undergraduate from the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Wong is obsessed in observing the interplay and fusion between organic and geometric, light and shadow, artificial and natural. The practice of Wong often includes experimentation and exploration of the unexpectedness and randomness that might happen. Exploring possibilities, Wong would like to uncover what makes each material special, and what are the unique characteristics making them irreplaceable.
